The purpose of this project is to create an exhibition building at La Guiara on the Venezuelan coast. The projects plans to create at least five spaces related and connected to each other for different types of events. The building was created to give the user a new space to enjoy art and the works that will be displayed in their rooms, a new site to visit in the company of family and spend some time of quality. The client will be the general public, every person wanting to see something different and enjoy the art exhibited in the building, or just want to walk and have a beautiful view of the beach.
THE PROJECT:
Consists of a reception room, where the public expected to enter the works, may receive information of future events that develop at the site, will also be a shop where you can buy or just enjoy a coffee. Then you can find the first exhibition room that has little solar light, which will be the most private room of the building where you may see the most important works. then there will be a series of corridors that connect the user with the second exhibition hall which will be outdoors and in contact with the environment, here you will find more exhibitions and performing artists at the moment and will be an entertainment space with a beautiful view, finally a food place located on the top of the building a divided into a large terrace and a hallway. And obviously you may find bathrooms all over the building. It has only one entrance and is located in the front facade of the building and it opens to a large vertical plane where they will be exposed sets of lights to welcome the user and works being exhibited at that time
The structure and materials of this project are very simple. All the columns and beams will be made out of reinforced concrete. The height of the building does not allow us to work with wood and because the metal gets oxidation on the beach can not work with steel. The facades are made of brick and wood so as the interior. All the openings are made of glass.
If this project gets to be build, it will be absolutely perfect. All the materials and all the structure are perfectly combined to create the most comfortable and useful exhibition building. This would be a perfect place for hanging out, studying or even for relaxing.
